Henderson and Las Vegas
We are located in the Green Valley North neighborhood in the city of Henderson. Although officially a separate city to Las Vegas, we are only a few miles from the center of Las Vegas and the strip. Henderson is often referred to as having small town values with big city efficiencies. The city's official slogan "Henderson-a Place to Call Home" reflects a community that enjoys small town values while benefiting from big city amenities.
An increasing number of major shopping malls, movie theater complexes, restaurants and casino resorts offer a variety of choices for leisure time. Check out the Travel Nevada website for everything you need to know and see while you're here.
Getting Around
The best way to get around Las Vegas, like most American Cities, is to rent a car. We have plenty of parking at the Condo, and everywhere is free to park. The Hotels and Casinos usually have valet parking services for a small fee, or you can park in some garages for free for a limited time. Check with your destination beforehand. Taxis are plentiful and pretty inexpensive.
There is an excellent public transport system with a bus stop about a 7-minute walk from the Condo on Sunset Road. You can download the RTC Ride app for all the transport options and schedules.
Restaurants
There are no shortage of great restaurants nearby from traditional American Diners like Black Bear Diner to home cooked Mexican at Casa Don Juan.
If the sweet tooth beckons, Pink Box doughnuts is within walking distance and open 24 hours!
Mothership coffee is a fantastic little neighbourhood café and coffee roastery. You have to be quick as their pastries sell out fast!
Of course there is always the 'Strip' with a huge choice of places to eat from family restaurants to michelin starred fine dining.
